Rubbish Collection

Household waste is collected every Monday and black sacks (which are provided by Braintree Council) should be on the kerbside awaiting collection from 7.30am on the day of collection. Collections after Bank Holidays are generally one day late, but you should refer to the Braintree web site for specific information. Braintree Waste Services

Clear Recycling bags of cardboard, paper and tins and plastic are collected every other Monday morning.

Glass and clothing recycling containers are located in the Dismals by the Village Hall.

Dog Waste

Three collection bins are provided along the Dismals. Please be aware that dog fouling is not tolerated in the village and the Dog Warden has the power to impose fines of up to £1,000 on dog walkers who fail to clear up their dog waste.

Community Warden
