The Square and Compasses, known locally as The Stoke Hole, is an independently owned 17th century freehouse set in the small hamlet of Fuller Street, surrounded by picturesque countryside and near The Essex Way long distance foothpath. Only a short drive from new Great Leighs Racecourse.

Food is simple and straightforward with daily changing chalkboard menu and traditional classic dishes all freshly prepared using local produce.
